Directions for use: Take one tablet once a day. Do not exceed this dose. The tablets should be swallowed whole. Do not chew or crush the tablets. May take 2-3 days for full effect. How to use nexium control —Product SuperstarNexium Control is a combination medication used to treat acid reflux and heartburn. It works by blocking one enzyme, which is responsible for the burning of acidity (heartburn) in the stomach.
Nexium is the brand name of the active ingredient in NEXIUM, Esomeprazole. It is used to treat acid reflux disease, ulcerative reflux disease, and acid reflux for which there are no effective treatment options.
Nexium is a prescription medicine that is used to treat anaerobic bacterial and protozoal infections such as certain anaerobic bacteria, protozoa, and gastrointestinal ulcers. It is also used to treat certain stomach ulcers caused by certain species of stomach acid.
Take Nexium exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Nexium should be taken at the same time each day. Do not take Nexium more than once a day. Swallow the tablet whole with water, and do not crush or chew it. You can take Nexium with or without food. It is important that you take Nexium for the full prescribed length of time (24 hours), even if you start to feel better before you have finished the entire treatment. Taking more Nexium may not help the treatment. The length of treatment with Nexium may vary depending on the type of infection being treated. If you need to take Nexium more often, take it as soon as you remember about it. If you need to take Nexium more than once a day, take it as directed by your doctor. Nexium is usually taken for 3 days. If you have diarrhea caused by anaerobic bacteria, it may need to be treated for a longer period of time. In some cases, you may need to take Nexium for a longer period of time than prescribed by your doctor. You should talk to your doctor if you are unable to take Nexium more often or if you think that taking Nexium can be harmful.
If you miss a dose of Nexium, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

The recommended dose is one tablet a day. - Do not take more than this recommended dose of one tablet (20 mg) a day, even if you don't feel an improvement immediately. - You may need to take Nexium 24HR for a few days before experiencing the full effect. - Nexium 24HR should be taken for at least 7 days and up to 14 days. - Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you do not feel better while taking Nexium 24HR.
